Kinuhikari brand from Tanba, in Kyoto. This variety of rice was recently chosen by the Imperial Household for one of Emperor Naruhito’s enthronement ceremonies. It has a refreshing texture, a sweetness, and a depth of flavor that become apparent as the rice is chewed.

きぬひかりは炊き上がりが「絹」のように美しいことから、その名がつけられました。

粘り気が少なく、あっさりとした口当たりです。

炊き立てはもちろん、冷めても美味しいのが特徴です。
