We created this salt specifically for making onigiri, driven by our desire to cultivate a culture of preparing onigiri at home overseas.
Although onigiri is known and eaten in many countries, the culture of making it at home is still rare. This product was developed under the concept of “introducing the culture of making onigiri.”

When it comes to salt that pairs well with onigiri, people generally prefer something “not too salty, yet pleasantly seasoned,” with “fine grains that retain the blessings of seawater.” Our goal was to combine the rich, seawater-derived flavor of our flagship product Aranami Salt with the smooth, fine-grained texture of our Cooking Salt.
